Student Life at Yeshiva Bais Moshe Chaim

Building close relationships and developing true talmidei chachamim

Close Relationships with Rebbeim

One of our top priorities at Yeshiva Bais Moshe Chaim is to build close relationships with our bochurim. We believe a bochur develops into a true talmid chachom only through maintaining close relationships with his rebbeim. Therefore, providing bochurim with warmth and personal attention is not just a perk, rather it is the very definition of what we are.

All of our rebbeim and youngeleit live within walking distance of the yeshiva, and shabboses are regularly spent together. Our high rebbi-to-student ratio allows our rebbeim to be sensitive to the needs of each bochur and make themselves available to talk about learning, hashkafa, or anything else that is on a bochur's mind.

The Rosh HaYeshiva also makes himself available to bochurim through small chaburos, private office time, and Shabbos meals at his home.

Our Learning Approach

Under the guidance of the Rosh HaYeshiva and the Yeshiva Rebbeim, bochurim are trained to develop an acute sense of the major issues in each sugya, and learn how to read text both carefully and critically.

The hallmark of the Rosh HaYeshiva is his careful approach to every nuance and detail expressed by Chazal, and his ability to uncover their depths.

Relationships That Last

At Yeshiva Bais Moshe Chaim the bochur's relationship with his rebbe does not just end after his time at the Yeshiva. Many former talmidim all over the world still regularly speak with the Rosh HaYeshiva about their important issues.
